Infiniti signs Sebastian Vettel as director of performance

Infiniti has announced Red Bull Racing Formula One driver Sebastian Vettel as its new director of performance. Expanding the relationship between Infiniti and Red Bull Racing – known since the end of 2012 as Infiniti Red Bull Racing – the three-time F1 World Champion will assist in vehicle development, specifically with the tuning of steering, braking and suspension systems.

Pricing and specification details of the Infiniti G37 Coupe and Convertible have been released ahead of the rear-wheel-drive two-door models' arrival in Australian showrooms from late next week. Two variants of the Infiniti G37 Coupe, the $75,900 GT Premium and $83,500 S Premium, are joined by the sole $87,900 S Premium variant of the G37 Convertible in the three-pronged Japanese luxury sports car line-up.

Infiniti, Nissan: V8 engines on the way out

It might be about to enter V8 Supercars in Australia, but a key Nissan official has admitted the V8 engine is on the way out.
