Why do left-hand drive markets get all the good models? That must be what Honda Australia’s senior management is thinking, because it’s missing out on two models that could be vital to it growing its sales Down Under.
The two models we’re talking about are the Pilot large SUV and the Ridgeline pick-up/ute, both of which aren’t built in right-hand drive. The market in North America is big enough to sustain both of them, just in left-hand drive.

The all-new 2016 Honda Pilot eight-seat SUV has been revealed in the US, but there's bad news for buyers in Australia hoping for an SUV larger than the CR-V.
The new-look Honda Pilot - which essentially serves as a larger alternative to the popular CR-V - mirrors the styling of the smaller model, but stretches longer and can accommodate more passengers or luggage thanks to its sizeable boot and lengthy 4.95-metre body (its smaller SUV sibling spans 4.55m).
