Honda NSX drags BMW M5 Competition, AMG E63 S - video

The Honda NSX should be faster than a BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class, right? After all, it's a hybrid supercar, and the other two are 'just' four-door sedans. Of course, BMW and Mercedes-Benz have a knack for making their four-door sedans fast enough to scare supercars. With 460kW/760Nm and 450kW/800Nm respectively, the BMW M5 Competition and Mercedes-AMG E63 S are seriously quick.

The automotive landscape is littered with talented photographers, each with their own style. This series offers a look at some of the snappers who have caught our attention with their work. This week, it's Vinh Mangalino. He's a 23 year-old from Melbourne, Australia, with a passion for cars. That will become clear when you see his work, of course. Below is a sample of his work, along with some information about how he got the shot.

2017 Honda NSX: Only two sold in Oz so far

Surrounded by much hype and huge expectation, the first new Honda NSX to be sold in Australia in 25 years launched locally in late 2016. Anticipation was high and fans were, understandably, rather excited. Then Honda Australia confirmed pricing for the hybrid supercar: an eyebrow-raising $420,000 (before on-road costs). So, a little more than 12 months on, how has the market reacted to the Japanese tour de force? Not all that well, it seems.

Honda NSX to spearhead big Australian branding campaign

Honda Australia plans to utilise the strong imagery and credibility of the new NSX supercar to reinforce its credentials as a car company capable of muscling it with the best. With global production capacity of the Honda NSX limited to just eight per day, wait lists for the US market have already hit two years, while Europe sits at 12 months. Australia, though, appears to have secured a few build slots already that should see initial customer cars arriving within six months of orders.
