2016 Chevrolet Malibu revealed

The larger, lighter, more efficient and more technologically advanced 2016 Chevrolet Malibu has been unveiled at the New York motor show. The ninth-generation Malibu is now almost five metres long, growing 58mm to 4.92m, while its wheelbase is also 91mm longer than the outgoing eighth-generation sedan, measuring 2.83m.

Holden Malibu earns five-star ANCAP rating, Fiat Freemont scores four

The Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) has praised the Holden Malibu for achieving a five-star safety rating but has expressed disappointment at a four-star result for the family-oriented Fiat Freemont. Launching in Australia next month, the Holden Malibu scored 35.47 points out of 37, according to ANCAP “performing well across all crash tests and providing good levels of protection to the majority of body regions for both the driver and passenger”.

2013 Holden Malibu: all-new medium sedan makes Australian debut

A gaping hole in the Holden range will be plugged in the middle of next year when it introduces the new mid-sized Holden Malibu sedan. Until now, Holden relied on the sub-standard Epica sedan which was based on the Daewoo Leganza that was introduced all the way back in 1997.
