Radical Rapture: Road-legal racer revealed

Radical has used the Goodwood Festival of Speed to reveal its latest road-legal weapon, the Rapture. Capable of hitting 98km/h (60mph) in just 3.0 seconds, and with a top speed north of 260km/h, the Rapture's performance claims are impressive, especially when you consider power comes from a 2.3-litre turbo four-cylinder engine nicked from Ford. More specifically, from the Focus RS.

BAC Mono R revealed

BAC has made its single-seat Mono supercar even lighter, and even more powerful, using the Goodwood Festival of Speed to unveil the Mono R. Although it has a similarly unique design to the original Mono, the R wads into battle weighing 555kg, 25kg less than before. That doesn't sound like much, but it's just under five per cent of the car's total weight.

Lexus LC Convertible headed to Goodwood - report

Lexus could be bringing a production version of the LC Convertible concept to the Goodwood Festival of Speed next month, according to a new report. Roadshow claims "multiple Lexus sources" have indicated the drop-top LC isn't far from its market launch, and should look exactly like the concept presented at the Detroit motor show in January.
