Oops: Bronco Raptor confirmed on Ford engineer's career profile – UPDATE: Could it be badged Warthog?

UPDATE, January 1, 2021: The hardcore, flagship Ford Bronco might not be badged 'Raptor' after all. An email sent to a member of the Bronco6G forum from Michigan-based automotive parts supplier Axis Automation details a number of upcoming internal-combustion and all-electric vehicles for which the company is producing components, including a 'Bronco Warthog', codenamed U725.

The 2022 Ford Ranger Raptor is expected to adopt twin turbo V6 petrol power – and arrive hot on the heels of the regular Ranger line-up. While this is an artist impression of the 2022 Ford Ranger Raptor – and the real deal could look substantially different – the good news is we won't need to wait too long to see the production version. Today’s Ford Ranger Raptor performance pick-up arrived in 2018, seven years after the regular versions of this generation Ranger went on sale.

2020 Ford Focus ST wagon unveiled

Ford of Europe has revealed a more practical alternative to the Focus ST hatch, but it's reserved for overseas markets unfortunately. As with the hatch, the Focus ST wagon is available with either a 140kW/400Nm 2.0-litre EcoBlue diesel engine, or a 206kW/420Nm 2.3-litre turbocharged petrol mill. Both engines come standard with a six-speed manual, while the petrol is available with a seven-speed automatic as well.

2020 Ford Mustang to get 'entry-level' performance variant

The Ford Mustang is already a fairly capable sports car, and in markets like the USA there's even more hardcore versions in the form of the Shelby GT350 and GT500 models. According to reports out of North America, Ford Motor Company has confirmed a new "entry-level" performance variant of the iconic pony car will form part of the 2020 line-up, but hasn't divulged much else.
