Brabham BT62 tears up Phillip Island circuit – Video

It's now been a month since Brabham Automotive revealed the BT62 in London, but we haven't quite seen what the car is capable of yet. This week, the company has given us a brief glimpse, posting the above video showing the new track-only supercar speeding around Phillip Island raceway in Victoria, Australia.

Brabham BT62 teased... again

Brabham Automotive has provided the clearest look at its upcoming BT62 supercar yet, offering a glimpse at the car's ginormous rear wing and, finally, revealing some performance figures. According to the company – which pays homage to legendary Formula 1 driver, Sir Jack Brabham, with its name – the BT62 will be powered by a naturally-aspirated 5.4-litre V8 engine making 700hp (522kW) of power.

Brabham Automotive reborn, could be tackling F1

David Brabham has launched Brabham Automotive, signalling the return of a famous Australian name to the world of motorsport. At what level, and in what capacity, remains to be seen. David, son of three-time F1 world champion Sir Jack Brabham, has previously said he's keen to see the legendary name on race cars after more than 25 years in the wilderness.
