Brabham BT62 to test at 'The Bend'

Brabham Automotive will use the new circuit at Tailem Bend, South Australia – simply dubbed 'The Bend' – as its local testing facility. The 7.77km track, which was officially opened in April and lays claim to being the second-longest permanent circuit in the world, is just about 70 minutes south west of Adelaide, and will host a Supercars round later this year.

Brabham BT62: Order books open ahead of May 2 reveal

The Brabham BT62 – scheduled to be revealed on May 2 – is now available to order in the UK, with prices kicking off at £1 million ($1.84m). Limited to just 70 units, the BT62's production run acknowledges the 70th anniversary of Sir Jack Brabham's racing debut in 1948. Brabham Automotive also released yet another teaser image of its upcoming supercar (top) showing the company's badge on the bonnet.

Brabham confirms BT62 name, engine note

Brabham Automotive has taken another baby step towards its return, with a brief engine-note teaser video and the reveal of its upcoming model dubbed 'BT62'. David Brabham, son of motorsport legend Sir Jack Brabham, is responsible for the nameplate's return after more than 25 years in the wilderness. “Today’s launch heralds the start of a new chapter in the story of a family synonymous with success,” Brabham Automotive said in a statement at the brand's relaunch.
