BMW Australia has updated pricing across its range for June, with price rises of up to $5000 on some of its most popular models.
CarAdvice has been told there is no change to specification of the vehicles, and that the increases are due to "normal economic changes".
“BMW constantly reviews its pricing structure, factoring in the exchange rate, inflation and changes to material costs,” a BMW Australia spokesperson told CarAdvice.
Note: All prices listed exclude on-road costs.
BMW M GmbH has revealed the first-ever X3 M and X4 M, complete with more powerful Competition variants, ahead of an Australian arrival during the second half of 2019.
First up, power. The X3 M and X4 M twins both house a twin-turbo inline-six under the bonnet, making 353kW and 600Nm. Jumping to the M Competition – that's right, there's a Competition – boosts that power output to a whopping 375kW. Trainspotters will notice the AMG GLC 63 S also makes 375kW. Hmmmm.
BMW Australia has issued a recall for the 2018 model-year X3 and X4 crossovers over concerns of a fault with the braking system.
The manufacturer reports that "there is a possibility of air being trapped in the hydraulic braking system", which can cause the rear brake circuit to fail, or in "extreme circumstances" the brake pedal may "travel to the floor".
If the condition occurs, this poses a hazard to the driver and other road users.
