The 2017 BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo range is the latest recipient of the German car maker's 'Life Cycle Impulse' (LCI) facelift, and will arrive in Australia during the fourth quarter of this year.
First revealed in June, the 3 Series GT LCI facelift receives a new daytime-running light signature for the standard-fit LED headlights, lightly refreshed front and rear bumpers, along with new LED tail-lights with an LED signature similar to the LCI-updated 3 Series sedan and wagon.
The Bavarian luxury car maker is working on a facelift for the BMW 3 Series GT, and a prototype of the updated car has been photographed by our spy team in Europe.
As with the facelift that was applied to the 3 Series sedan and wagon earlier this year, the visual update to the GT will be minor in nature.
The BMW 3 Series GT has been officially revealed ahead of the premium mid-sized hatchback's Geneva motor show debut next month.
Stylistically, the BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo follows the lead of the larger 5 Series GT, offering a midway point between the sedan and Touring wagon derivatives, although size-wise, the new third variant in the sixth-generation BMW 3 Series range is the largest so far.
