2017 Bentley Continental GT Speed update and new Black Edition revealed

Overnight, the luxury car maker revealed an update for the Bentley Continental GT Speed, as well as a new variant dubbed the Bentley Continental GT Speed Black Edition. Under the bonnet, the updated Continental GT Speed features a more powerful version of the company’s 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 engine, and now boasts 472kW of power and 840Nm of torque between 2000 and 5000rpm. That’s up 7kW and 20Nm on the outgoing model.

Bentley Continental GT3 concept: British marque set to race in 2013

The Bentley Continental GT3 concept race car has been revealed ahead of the 2012 Paris motor show, signalling the exclusive British marque's return to racing for the first time since 2003. Based on the 460kW/800Nm four-wheel drive Bentley Continental GT Speed seen at the Goodwood Festival of Speed earlier this year, the Continental GT3 concept makes the shift to rear-wheel drive to meet racing regulations and features a comprehensive aerodynamics package that includes a significant rear wing.

Bentley Continental GT Speed Spy Photos

Before its debut at the Frankfurt Motorshow next month, our photographers have spotted what we believe is the new Bentley Continental GT Speed without any cover. There are not too many exterior difference from the standard GT, but we suspect the party piece is hiding under that long bonnet. The new generation Bentley Continental GT is powered by the same 6.0-litre W12 engine as before, now producing 423kW and 700Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0-100km/h in 4.6 seconds.
