2015 Subaru Outback 2.5i Premium Review

This is a great car in every respect except the sat Nav. I'm on the road every day for work often going places I've never been before, needing to give people ETAs, trying to avoid traffic jams and accidents. All wonderful things that my old sit on the dashboard sat Nav could do and so can the Subaru built in with one key, fundamental, blindingly obvious, or in this case deafeningly obvious difference...

2006 Subaru Liberty GT-B Review

I don't think I will buy another car...yes that is how good the Spec B was and is nearly nine years on. ( Mine was born in November 2006). Indeed "friends" suggest we are both getting a bit long in the tooth and the car is in far better nick than the owner. No mechanical repairs, tyre, batteries and belt replacement only, not a rattle or squeak and same light bulbs as built...

2007 Subaru Liberty GT-B Review

I am not going to buy another car...ever.. Well yes, I should fess up that I am over sixty, so that ever may not be as long as others ever...but it remains ever! The GT Spec B has tidy handling, enough power to get you out of trouble or into it if you choose..

2015 Subaru Outback 3.6r Premium Review

A wonderfully fantastic car! On the road I consistently achieve 28+ mpg and whilst on my most recent road trip from Anchorage Alaska to Minnesota and back, (8,200 miles) I was able to squeak 30+.or more from a U.S. on several occasions... I thought that I would hate having the CVT but am now immensely fond of it! I weigh 300lbs, my son weighs 200lbs plus we had a combined total of about 300lbs of gear...

2002 Subaru Impreza Review

Stand on the clutch, give the loud pedal a boot-full and let the needle lurk threateningly around 7000, then give it a sidestep and disappear with haste, literally smashing through the gears engulfed in the aural symphony that is simply: the boxer engine. However try the same trick again and risk spending your free time in futile attempts to piece together a former 5 speed jigsaw...

1999 Subaru Outback Review

This car is a 1999 Subaru Outback, just one in a long line of fascinating family wagons with a surprising performance edge that Subaru has been making since the 1970s. It brings reliability, comfort and enigmatic levels of performance in a practical body with solid construction...

2015 Subaru WRX Review

Subaru's WRX is intended to take the car from its boy-racer roots to a more sophisticated customer, but has Subaru done enough? Subaru's aim for the current model WRX is to provide a more upmarket car which will interest a wider audience of car buyers. At the same time, it still provides a very affordable entry into the sports sedan market...

2010 Subaru Outback Review

I always have omens that it is time to replace cars. Some are more blatant, and when the dealership advised that they were unlikely to cover the $8000 transmission repair cost on the Toyota Kluger, exactly 2000kms out of warranty, (bought new and serviced loyally with them), I knew it was time regardless of warranty outcomes...

1997 Subaru Impreza Review

It all began the morning of Australia Day 2014 when an old high-school friend phoned to invite me to a day of kayaking he had planned down on the coast. The idea of sunny paddling seemed more attractive than productive work illuminated only by my computer screen, so I considered the invitation for exactly three-tenths of a second before making my way to the shed to remove my dusty kayak from the rafters...

2005 Subaru Liberty Review

We love fast estates in this country, so despite their unpopularity elsewhere in the world (looking you USA) it's nice to see that there are still a couple of marque's that indulge us. Audi RS have rightly caught onto a good stream with more than enough being sold to maintain the no doubt huge development costs (they all have mostly bespoke bodywork), but its unfortunate to see no lower cost alternatives available...

2010 Subaru Impreza Review

I have owned my wrx for a few months now and has been a great car. probly the best car i have owned. Its so easy to drive and the power and response from factory is amazing. the only things that i have noticed is that the air con gave way at 75,000 and the subwoofer has given out. other then that the car has been great! Love the colour and has excellent traction with only a slight tendancy to understeer...
