2016 Subaru XV 2.0i-S Review

This is a perfect car for singles or couples as it is stylish and fun to drive. The technology provides tons of information at your fingertips and the main multi functional screen is easy to use. The bluetooth has great connectivity and the ability to stream music from your iPhone or device is also a joy.

Fuel economy is great averaging around 7.4l/100km. Steering is light and while it is not the fastest car of the mark, it is more than sufficient for city driving with and comfortable when on the open road. The CVT provides a smooth acceleration but may also be the reason for the slower ramp up of speed from 0 to 40kph.

The height from the ground to drivers seat is perfect so you don't have to step up or sink down to access the drivers seat. Love the ivory leather and seat warmers.

I am totally in love with the stop start and keyless entry which unlocks your car when you approach the car doors, the start stop is not as sensitive as other models and you have greater control over when it does actually stop with an option to disable it altogether if you are not a fan.

Overall the car seems to be well made and the fixed serving costs and a 5 year warranty make the it a very attractive offer.

The only negative is that when moving the transmission from reverse to drive, there seems to be a small lag before it kicks in but not enough to be annoying.

Highly recommend the XV.
