2014 Skoda Octavia 132 TSI Elegance Review

- shares

After owning a 2014 Skoda Octavia 132TSI Elegance for over a few months now, I've never looked back.

The Octavia is quite competent in all areas, making it one of the most alluring options in the medium car class.

I bought the Elegance variant for its long list of features, including leather seats, Columbus satellite navigation, 9 airbags (including rear side airbags), 10 speaker sound system, dual zone air con and the multi link independent rear suspension shared with Audi's A3 and VW's Golf.

Performance is excellent due to the fact the 1.8L turbo is shared with the Audi A3, while the 7 speed DSG transmission provides smooth and crisp shifts, making it a more improved version over earlier examples.

Space is by far the class benchmark, with the sedan variants providing 560 litres, the wagon versions slightly more. Front and rear space in the Octavia is exceptional, offering a comfortable ride for five people.

Overall the Octavia is an alluring package which I recommend to anyone wanting a good quality vehicle that's quite strong in every aspect.
