I wasn't sure what to expect when I bought this as my first car, but was pleasantly surprised at the solid 90kW engine, sporty ride and comfortable interior.

Drive wise, the car boasts reasonable power in 2nd and 3rd gears, both of which provide more than serviceable acceleration. The ride is firm but feels sporty enough for a small car. 1st gear is a waste, hitting 3000RPM at only 25km/h, and feels lacklustre at times. Overall, considering how it drives, the 7L/100km combined is exceptional.

As for aesthetics and 'creature comforts', leather seats, seat heaters, and a sleek looking dash layout are surprising for an '04 car. Outside, while nothing particularly special, the car looks suitably sleek and sporty.

It may not be a sports car per se, but overall the economy, driveability and interior are hard to go past for a first car.
