If the Lexus IS F represents genesis, does that make the GS F the last supper?
Few, if any, long-term testers have managed to prove so popular with so many of our journalists, as well as various CarAdvice staff, as the Lexus GS F. Even after eight months, this is a performance sedan that has continued to deliver genuine desirability on so many levels including ride, handling, performance and comfort.
Sitting in a car so often, you get to develop some thoughts on how it's all put together. Here's what we think.
We've put around 1500km on the clock of the GS F since we first introduced the car and more of our colleagues have driven it. Here's what we like, and dislike, about the car.
Finally, our time with the brawny and very traditional Lexus GS F has come to its conclusion. What did Tony and the team think of it? Find out here.
After five months with multiple different drivers, we can honestly say our GS F feels as tight and as well screwed together as it was the day it landed in the CarAdvice garage. Lexus dealers in Australia are clearing remaining stock. A statement from Lexus Australia said Japan has “confirmed production of the GS and GS-F will cease later this year” and that “the GS and GS-F remain available in Australian dealerships”...
Lexus has revealed two special edition models to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the 'F' performance brand, with unique exterior finishes and unique interior appointments. The RC F and GS F have both been treated to a makeover, with a matte Fuji Graphite paint finish on the body, door handles, mirror housings, side skirts and antenna...
