2017 Haval H6 Lux Review

Read the full review here. The 2017 Haval H6 has its work cut out for it. It's the Chinese brand's fourth SUV model to launch here in Australia, joining the compact H2, large H8 and seven-seat H9 that arrived a year ago. Now, the mid-size H6 has the tough job of trying to break into one of our biggest selling segments and take on the big players like the Mazda CX-5, Hyundai Tucson, Toyota RAV4 and Nissan X-Trail...

2021 Haval H6 one step closer to Australia

The 2021 Haval H6 has been certified for sale in Australia, ahead of a potential local launch by the middle of the year. A filing in the Australian government's Road Vehicle Certification System database – which details all vehicles certified for sale in Australia against Australian Design Rules standards – reveals the H6 will be powered locally by a 2...

2021 Haval H6 ready to roll at Beijing motor show, Australian launch under consideration

With this year's Beijing motor show, the 2021 Haval H6 is preparing for its international debut, following its domestic market launch at the Chengdu show in July. Parent company, Great Wall Motor, is using the motor show to remake itself as a “global technology travel company” but for now, the Haval H6 looks to follow a fairly traditional medium SUV format...

Haval preparing SUV onslaught for 2020 Beijing motor show

Haval will launch a trio of next-generation crossovers at the 2020 Beijing motor show, and they're all set for Australia. Haval H2, H6 given drive-away price cut

Haval has trimmed the price of its H2 and H6 SUVs, lowering the cost of entry to $22,990 drive-away and $28,990 drive-away respectively. In the case of the front-wheel drive H2 Premium Automatic, that represents a $1000 price cut on the regular drive-away price, which itself is well down on the $26,490 (before on-road costs) Haval was asking for when the car touched down in October 2015...

2016 Haval H6 Premium review

A Note from the Editor: A stock image has been supplied with this review. Haval has a gem on its hands with the H6 – the price, comfort, style, price, technology and the price are all selling points to this vehicle. The ton of features in the H6 compared with others in this medium SUV class, all at around $10–15K less than the competition, are eye-opening to say the least...

2017 Haval H6 Lux review

We purchased the H6 after test-driving the Haval range. We were impressed by the level of features, build quality and value for money. Buying a Chinese-made vehicle was a change after owning a Jeep, Land Rover, Ford, Holden and Toyota. The five-year warranty helped us feel a little more secure. We will have to wait and see how the resale value works out...

2018 Haval H6 Lux review

We picked up the Haval H6 as a replacement for my Holden Cruze SRi-V. We chose the Haval H6 as we wanted a medium-sized SUV and to keep our spending down. The Haval H6 has a heap of features for its price range, and the options you get with the Lux model you won’t find anywhere else. But what you also won’t find anywhere is poor customer follow-up and a lack of respect from the team at Haval...
