2015 Ford Ranger Wildtrak 3.2 (4x4) Review

Has a great look at the front of the car. The ford has a reasonable price but not the cheapest. It has ok tech but the lower models miss out on a lot of things that the top model have. The popular one of all the models is the XLT which is around 56 thousand dollars and the XLS is also popular being that it is around 10 thousand dollars cheaper...

2013 Ford Ranger Review

In the hotly contested 4x4 utility segment there are a number of choices available all with their respective pros and cons. None however seem to 'get it right' like the PX Ford Ranger. Unveiled at the 2010 Australian International Motor Show after a blank sheet design and engineering project by Ford Australia for the international marketplace, the Ford Ranger was immediately the class leader in interior space (especially the all-important rear seat room), packaging, towing capacity - the list goes on...

2012 Ford Ranger XL 3.2 (4x4) Review

Great car to drive with towing capacity and power, comfort and driver friendliness. Big problem is the fuel pump. Mine broke downon the highway 250kms from home. Had to get the tow truck. He said he had to pick up 3 in the last month or so. Diesel supplier said that Ford Ranger/Mazda BT50 changed from Bosch Fuel pump in 2012 to Siemens...

2011 Ford Ranger XLT 3.2 Review

My PX Ranger, purchased September 2011 has given almost perfect service. It has now travelled 85000 km with two trips from W.A. to Qld towing a 2.7 tonne caravan. Service costs each 15000 km are about $300.and the only warranty work done was a recall for trans coolant hose re-routing. No complaints at all with our local Ford service...

2010 Ford Ranger XLT Review

I recently bought this 2010 Ford Ranger XLT 4WD. So far I am very impressed with the driving dynamics and the general brute grunt and capability of the Ranger. It has a 3.0-litre TDCI engine which is pretty much faultless, I have chipped it taking it from 115kW and 380Nm to 140kW and 470Nm. And that has really allowed me to take on heavy duty tracks and loads...

2009 Ford Ranger Wildtrack Review

Overall, in this wildtrak owners opinion, the ford ranger is one of the best crew cab 4x4 vehicles on the market to date, the economy is good the motor is strong and reliable, comfortable seats good ride height great steering not too light...

2012 Ford Ranger XLT 3.2 Review

What a magnificent vehicle . The looks the comfort the feel of the vehicle is outstanding. I have done 45000 k's now and it has not missed a beat. Due to having only one demerit point I am driving like my nanna , the upside is I am only using 8.1 litres per hundred...

2014 Ford Ranger XLT 3.2 Review

After reading heaps of review on here I had decided it was going to be a ranger or a Colorado the reason I chose the ranger was the dash has inbuilt key pad for phone tick it looks like a truck. Brought this truck for use on the farm plus for personal ute. After having a toyota hilux for the last 3 trucks it was a bold move but a good one...

2013 Ford Ranger XL 2.2 Review

For a brand new car you expect it to be rather good on fuel and speed but it has a lot of drag when first starting and several times now I've had to take it into the mechanic for loss of turbo input and a smelly air conditioner. On the plus side, the Ford Ranger's bluetooth technology that connects automatically is great...

2012 FORD RANGER XLT 3.2 Review

I have the 3.2 double cab. I have owned it for about 12,000KM. It averages about 9.6ltrs/100KM around town and just a bit better than that on the motorway. It is a roomy and quiet ride with excellent handling and very good stereo. I find the Diesel to have a dead spot on take off from stop lights...wouldn't want to jump out in traffic to quickly...
