2012 FORD FALCON XT ECOBOOST Review

We just bought a 2012 Ford Ecoboost Falcon 1 month ago, so far everything is great, the power from that tiny engine. As what one reviewer said: "You would be hard pressed to tell it apart from the Falcon 4.0 six". Yes the engine is that good. The only disadvantage from the 6 is that the ecoboost can only tow 1.6 tonnes while the 6 can tow 2.3 tonne...

2011 FORD FALCON XR6 (LPI) Review

After semi-retiring my 1998 EL Falcon @ 977,000km (engine untouched), I bought an 2011 XR6 ecoLPi with 16,000km on the clock... WOW what a car in comparison. I get 12.4 Litres per 100Km (70% Freeway, 30% Metropolitan), saving me heaps on fuel @ 75,000+ km per annum. Great Value for Money over the LE.

2009 FORD FALCON XR6T Review

I truly believe that many have been missing out on this wonderful car...the average Joe hears large V8 or turbocharged and images of hoons spring to mind. Mores the pity as the Falcon FG Turbo is a wonderful car not only for its performance and handling, but also as a daily commuter and family tourer...

2002 FORD FALCON FUTURA Review

I've had my BA Futura since near new. It's been great for ferrying a large family around, and any country kilometres get easily eaten up. The BA was also a better looker than the AU series, so even after 10 years, it's still modern enough on the outside, although the dashboard is dating. Around the city it likes to drink petrol, but that's the price for a large roomy car...

1999 FORD FALCON CLASSIC Review

There isn't much bad I can say about the AU Fairmont despite people's criticisms of the design of the poor car. It is quite a nice car and the best thing about this car is their reliability and endurance...

2006 FORD FALCON Review

The Ford Falcon XT EuroSport was different from a taxi in one key area - the refinement offered by that amazing ZF 6 speed auto which did an amazing job transforming the Falcon into a refined and capable tourer. When you add to that the Eurosport's suspension upgrades, which firmed up the suspension and gave more precision and control to the damping without making the ride harsh, then add the attractive 17" alloys and the DSC (stability control) and you have a winner...

2008 FORD FALCON Review

I purchased this car as a second owner with 37,000km. I was weighing up between this and a VE Commodore SV6. This was better value for money, with kms being low and a more refined engine/gearbox .The car can be a bit thirsty on fuel, but if you watch how you drive you can get it to around 10 litres/100km around town ( my average is about 13.2L/8...

2004 FORD FALCON Review

The first point I should make is that this car isn't for everyone. The reason I bought this car was for its boot space. Being able to load a lot of gear in the back is useful for me. Seating 4-5 people comfortably, as much or more load space as an SUV, better on road handling and cheaper maintenance and insurance than an SUV of a similar age makes this car a better choice for a family with 2-3 children...
