Matt LeBlanc to host next two Top Gear seasons

Matt LeBlanc will host the next two seasons of Top Gear, the BBC has confirmed. In a statement announcing details about season 24, which starts next year, the BBC confirmed that "LeBlanc will be joined by Chris Harris and Rory Reid, with regular appearances from Eddie Jordan, Sabine Schmitz and The Stig". Both Harris and Reid will continue hosting the spin-off show Extra Gear as well.

Jeremy Clarkson involved in "dust up" over dinner, according to James May

During a brief interview outside his house, James May revealed that fellow Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson was suspended by the BBC over a "dust up" with a producer. Stopped by a BBC News crew outside his home, May was asked if he believed that Clarkson was innocent of punching a producer. May responded, "I think he's been involved in a bit of a dust up, and I don't think it's that serious".

Top Gear too loud for Gold Coast

The BBC's Top Gear television program has been denied the opportunity to drive a V8 Supercar around a Gold Coast driver training centre due to "issues related to noise". News Limited reports a plan to have Jeremy Clarkson, one of the program's three hosts, drive an Xbox-sponsored V8 Supercar around the Norwell-based Holden Driving Centre's 2km circuit has fallen through due to issues surrounding noise restrictions.

Top Gear China on the way: report

Recent reports say China will be the next country to take on the successful Top Gear franchise and create its own television program.
