2021 Aston Martin Vantage F1 Edition unveiled, Australian arrival confirmed
The 2021 Aston Martin Vantage F1 Edition has been unveiled, ahead of its Australian launch in the fourth quarter of 2021 (October to December inclusive).
Previewed in a teaser late last week, the Vantage F1 Edition serves as a road-going version of the latest Aston Martin Vantage-based 2021 Formula One safety car, with more power, a new aerodynamics package and an uprated chassis.
The 2021 Lamborghini SC20 has been officially unveiled.
The second one-off model developed by Lamborghini's Squadra Corse racing division – following the SC18 Alston of 2018 – the road-legal SC20 combines the on-track performance of the raging bull brand's race cars with an open-top, speedster-like driving experience.
Aston Martin Victor: Brutal one-off muscle machine revealed
Forget wedge-like exotics and futuristic powertrains, Aston Martin has taken the old-school gym workout route with its one-of-a kind 7.3-litre naturally-aspirated Victor.
That’s right, no turbos or mild-hybrid systems here, just a massive 7.3-litre Cosworth-tuned V12, lifted from the 2009 Aston Martin One-77.
Champion US Nascar driver Joey Logano will join the Supercars All Stars Eseries competition next week as the wildcard entrant, with Supercars champion Craig Lowndes also expressing interest in the series.
Logano – the 2015 Daytona 500 winner and 2018 Nascar Cup Series Champion – will race against the majority of real-life Australian Supercars racing drivers in round four of the Eseries in virtual simulations of Montreal’s Circuit Gilles Villeneuve and New York’s Watkins Glen tracks.
