Pagani teases new hypercar, shows off aeronautical accessories

Italian hypercar manufacturer Pagani has teased a new upcoming model, with an official unveiling slated for 17 December 2020. The promotional video – posted to Twitter overnight – shows the vehicle equipped with aeronautical-themed accessories, including a pitot tube and a speedometer calibrated to measure in Mach (the speed of sound relative to surrounding air). A track focused Huayra R was previously confirmed for development, however it’s unclear if this is the model shown.

Pagani V12 to survive until 2026, electric car in the works

Pagani has confirmed it will continue producing V12-powered hypercars until at least 2026, and says it's also working on an electric vehicle. In an interview with Autocar, Horatio Pagani, the carmaker's founder and CEO, confirmed the company's next-generation sports car will again be powered by a twin-turbo V12 engine from Mercedes-Benz. According to Pagani this the next-generation engine will be "homologated until 2026".

Pagani Huayra R: Hardcore supercar snapped in testing

A mysterious Pagani Huayra wearing a wild aerodynamics package has been spied in testing, sparking speculation an 'R' variant could be on the way. The images, snapped by iuri.giova on Instagram, reveal a massive rear wing and super-aggressive diffuser, along with what appears to be a fin running down the car's spine.

Pagani offers a peek at Zonda restoration program

Pagani has peeled back the curtain on its recently-announced Rinascimento program, giving the world a look at how it gives well-used Zondas a new lease on life. The first Pagani model is, after all, getting a bit long in the tooth. It first rolled out of the factory in 1999, and some customers have covered more than 100,000km in their bespoke, hand-built Italian artworks.

2017 Pagani Huayra Roadster unveiled

The new Pagani Huayra Roadster has been unveiled with an upgraded interior, and a redesigned body with wider wheel arches. Powering the Huayra Roadster is a 6.0-litre Mercedes-AMG twin-turbo V12 engine mounted behind the passenger cell, and that develops 562kW of power at 6200rpm and 1000Nm of torque. Drive is delivered to the rear wheels via a seven-speed automated manual transmission and an electronically controlled mechanical differential.
