Ford dealers are telling customers they have sold out of their allocations of the upcoming Mustang R-Spec – even though the price tops $100,000 by the time it’s in the traffic. The Ford Mustang R-Spec was unveiled in the lead up to the 2019 Bathurst 1000 but dealers were allocated cars within the first 60 days of the announcement. 2006-14 Ford Mustang recalled for Takata airbags

Mustang Australia has issued a recall for previous-generation Ford Mustang models built between 2006 and 2014, as part of the ongoing Takata airbag campaign. The manufacturer reports that the driver's side airbag inflator could be faulty, potentially endangering the life of the vehicle's occupants. As with all Takata-related campaigns, the airbags are susceptible to moisture intrusion over time, causing the propellant to degrade.
