Koenigsegg Regera KNC: Naked carbon hypercar revealed

Koenigsegg has revealed its latest special-edition Regera, touting its high-tech new carbon exterior finish. The KNC, or Koenigsegg Naked Carbon, finish involved no lacquer, varnish or alternative coating. Instead, the thin layer of epoxy usually used to coat a cured piece of carbon is gently hand-removed until only the naked carbon remains.

Koenigsegg teases Agera RS successor

Koenigsegg has released a preview image of the upcoming successor to its Agera RS hypercar, published to the company's Australian Facebook page. The rear shot doesn't reveal a whole lot, but we can see the new model will have a prominent rear wing, slim LED tail-lights, an aggressive diffuser outline, and fat rear tyres.

Koenigsegg Agera RS breaks its own 0-400-0km/h record

Just days after setting the speed record for production cars, the Koenigsegg Agera RS has broken the 0-400-0km/h record - which, incidentally, it broke just a month ago The record run took just 33.29 seconds, nearly nine seconds faster than the the mighty Bugatti Chiron, and four seconds quicker than its previous record set in early October (37.28 seconds).

Koenigsegg is working on a small engine with huge power

Koenigsegg has confirmed that it is working on a 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine, but don't expect to see it in any of its vehicles, ever. In an interview with CarBuzz, Christian von Koenigsegg, the company's founder, confirmed that the Swedish supercar maker is working on a high-performance four-pot on behalf of Chinese automaker Qoros.

Koenigsegg revisits its original 1996 prototype vehicle

The original Koenigsegg prototype vehicle recently returned to the company’s factory for a brief visit as part of retrospective photo shoot. According to the Swedish supercar maker, work began on the prototype back in 1994, but it took two years to complete.
