The Aston Martin Formula One team is official with the newly-branded team confirming a February launch.
The team, formerly known as Racing Point, unveiled its new identity overnight, completing a transition that began when Racing Point owner, Canadian billionaire Lawrence Stroll, acquired a major stake in the British luxury car maker.
Aston Martin F1 will reveal its new 2021 car and livery next month. The team is expected to run in traditional British Racing Green colours.

Only a month after winning the Formula Three championship, Australian racing car driver Oscar Piastri has been invited to test in a Renault Formula One car.
The 19-year-old will be one of only three F3 drivers to invited to show off their talents in Renault's 2018 Formula One car later this month at the Bahrain International Circuit.
"It’s not every day that you get the opportunity to drive an F1 car, so I am very grateful to the team for the opportunity," Piastri said.
