2022 Fisker Ocean revealed further, US pricing announced
…
Fisker has already touted its innovative, flexible leases for the upcoming Ocean SUV, but now it's revealed how much it'll cost to buy one outright. In the US, that is, although an Australian launch has been promised.
The nascent brand’s electric SUV will be priced from US$29,999 (A$43,268). That price includes the U.S. government’s $7500 (A$10,817) tax credit for battery-electric vehicles.
Fisker is developing a pure-electric ute to sit alongside its Tesla Model Y rival, the company's founder has confirmed.
Details about the ute are scant, but Henrik Fisker overnight tweeted a mockup of a ute tailgate and canopy, and confirmed the brand's next models will share a platform with the as-yet unnamed SUV.
"ALL automotive segments have to be electrified!" Fisker tweeted.
"After our Fisker electric SUV, we have already decided on our next 2 EV’s [sic] on the same platform!"
Fisker has continued playing a slow, drawn-out game of strip poker with its upcoming rival to the Tesla Model Y, today sharing a picture of the car's roof and rear. Guys, reveal it already.
Where Elon Musk uses Twitter to share news about Tesla, Henrik Fisker uses his personal Facebook page. Twice this week he's posted pictures of the sub-$40k crossover, stopping just short of revealing it in full.
2019 Fisker EMotion debuts, solid-state battery coming later
…
The Fisker EMotion has been given its full debut at the 2018 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
The EMotion is powered by a set of electric motors generating at least 575kW of power, with drive sent to all four wheels. The EMotion rides on 24-inch alloy wheels fitted with low rolling resistance Pirelli rubber.
The company claims the sedan can crack the 0-60mph (0-97km/h) standard in under three seconds, and shoot on through to a top speed of 259km/h.
The Fisker EMotion, the latest vehicle from the pen of Henrik Fisker, has been teased again on social media.
The latest teaser photo shows the car's front profile, and follows on from earlier teasers that revealed the vehicle's front-end design, as well as its butterfly door arrangement, which is said to make for easier ingress and egress.
