The first images of the MG Cyberster have been revealed ahead of its unveiling at the Shanghai motor show starting 19 April 2021.
The electric concept car – which was penned by MG Advanced Design Centre in London – takes a number of design cues from the iconic MGB convertible.
While full details will be announced in the coming weeks, MG says the Cyberster uses a fully-electric architecture offering 800km of range and a 0-100km/h time of less than three seconds.

UPDATE, 24 March 2021: Lexus has confirmed it will take the covers off its all-electric concept on Tuesday, 30 March 2021, at 9pm AEDT.
After much speculation, a new teaser image – supplied alongside the announcement – confirms the model will be a high-riding sedan.
It's understood the yet-to-be-named vehicle will be underpinned by Toyota's Direct4 electric powertrain architecture, and power will be sent to all four wheels.

Toyota will preview its first electric vehicle with a concept SUV, set to be unveiled at the Shanghai motor show in April.
The Japanese brand announced overnight the Shanghai show from April 19 to 28 would host the debut of the new "preview" concept, which will serve as a near-production teaser for Toyota's widely-rumoured, first-ever electric vehicle (EV) – a mid-size SUV expected to wear a nameplate opening with the 'BZ' prefix.
A one-of-a-kind Porsche concept known as the 550one has been unveiled after more than 12 years out of the public eye.
The Porsche 550one was a mid-engined roadster created in 2008 as a modern tribute to the iconic 550 Spyder, a car made famous by Hollywood actor James Dean – who was killed while behind the wheel of his 1955 550 Spyder.
Fittingly, the 550one concept also bears the nickname 'Lil' Bastard', a nod to the moniker Dean lovingly bestowed upon his own 550 Spyder.

Based on the flagship, off-road-oriented X-Line variant of the Sorento offered in the US, Kia's Yosemite Edition and Zion Edition concepts – named after two American national parks – have been created by LGE-CTS Motorsports of San Dimas, California.
