Caterham celebrates 60 years of the Seven

British sports car manufacturer, Caterham, is celebrating 60 years of the Seven, bringing seven of its iconic models together. To mark the occasion, a mixture of old and new cars gathered at test track Longcross Studios in Surrey, England. The impressive line-up included a 1957 Series 1, a replica of the car that featured in the TV show The Prisoner, an SS, a CSR 260 tuned by Cosworth, along with current models; the Sprint and 620S.

Caterham refreshes Seven range pricing for Australia

The change to currency exchange rates following the Brexit announcement has enabled Caterham Australia to revise pricing of the ultra-light sports car range for 2017 to make the enthusiast sports car more affordable. Prices now start from $64,000 (plus options and on road costs) for the entry level Caterham Seven 275. This is an almost $6000 reduction ($69,850) on the previous pricing.

Caterham 'C120': the new Alpine coupe's scrubbed twin

The Caterham 'C120' coupe, the cancelled sibling of the upcoming Alpine 'A120', has been unveiled by the design consultancy involved in its development. The Caterham coupe, codenamed C120 - although it wears F1-based 'CT02' plates in these images - was unveiled late last week by Drive Design, the British firm that helped to shape it.

Renault, Caterham sports cars project to be canned, claims report

The partnership between Renault and Caterham to co-develop and produce a pair of affordable sports cars could reportedly be wound up before the cars even hit the road, according to a UK report. Autocar claims the French-British joint venture that was announced less than 18 months ago will be cancelled, despite the fruits of the project – two lightweight, two-seat sports cars from Caterham and reborn French division Alpine – still being more than 24 months away from their planned launch date.

Caterham Seven 165: entry-level sports car unveiled

The Caterham Seven 165 has been officially unveiled at the Frankfurt motor show, revealing the classic British brand's newest sports car. Intended to be an uncomplicated, easy to run and exciting entry point into the marque, the Caterham Seven 165 is powered by a Suzuki-built turbocharged 660cc three-cylinder engine. Producing 59kW and 107Nm, and teamed with a Suzuki five-speed manual transmission, the powerplant is smallest and most efficient unit ever installed in a Seven.
