2020 Cadillac CT4 revealed

After unveiling the sporty CT4-V earlier this year, Cadillac has now taken the wraps off the rest of the CT4 range. The CT4 uses an updated version of the Alpha platform underpinning the Chevrolet Camaro and Cadillac CT5 sedan. That’s good news as Alpha cars have been frequently praised by critics for their dynamics. In terms of size, it’s almost identical to the old entry-level ATS. Total length is 4756mm, fractionally longer than a BMW 3 Series but with a wheelbase 76mm shorter at 2775mm.

Cadillac prepping hotter CT4-V and CT5-V variants

Cadillac has confirmed it's working on higher-performance models to sit above the just-unveiled CT4-V and CT5-V sedans, prototypes of which were displayed at Belle Island near Detroit, Michigan. The latest announcement is very likely a response to online reception received by both cars after their unveiling last week, which was as frosty as the ones dished out to Steve Smith and David Warner in England.

GM 'certainly capable' of bringing Cadillac to Australia

General Motors (GM) hasn't ruled out another tilt at bringing Cadillac to Australia, suggesting its entire product cupboard is open to our market, provided the business case stacks up. Speaking with media in Port Melbourne, Mark Reuss, General Motors vice president and head of global product, said head office is "certainly capable" of putting right-hand drive Cadillacs on Australian roads.
