Range Rover Evoque SV model expected soon, Convertible confirmed for Australia

The Range Rover Evoque Convertible isn’t the only new model that will grace the style-focused small SUV’s range in the coming years – CarAdvice can reveal that Land Rover will soon add a flagship SV model to the ranks, too. The news came out of an Australian media interview with Land Rover’s design director and chief creative officer, Gerry McGovern, who stated that the company’s Special Vehicle Operations unit, and its SV models, are set to expand across many more variants.

Hyundai Santa Cruz ute is 'not a pick-up'

With the Hyundai Santa Cruz ute all but assured for production, the South Korean manufacturer is keen to emphasise the vehicle will not be a traditional pick-up. Speaking to CarAdvice at the 2015 New York auto show, the CEO of Hyundai America, Dave Zuchowski, said the aim of the Santa Cruz is to enter a new and untapped segment. “It’s that sweet spot which offers the comfort of a crossover and the functionality and versatility of a pickup bed,” Zuchowski said.

Hyundai Santa Cruz ute set for production

The Hyundai Santa Cruz ute concept is all but assured to go into production as Hyundai America pushes its parent company to speed up the vehicle’s development. 2016 Scion iA revealed

The 2016 Scion iA has debuted at the New York motor show, becoming the first sedan from Toyota’s youthful US sub-division. Half Kodo half catfish, the iA is a subtly reworked version of the Mazda 2 sedan and is the product of the partnership between Toyota and Mazda where the later is building the city-sized four-doors alongside one another at its plant in Salamanca, Mexico.
