The CarAdvice Community Approved Tester program (“The Program”) is conducted by Pty Ltd (ABN 84 116 608 158) (“Promoter”) of 52 Victoria Street, McMahons Point NSW 2060.

The Program application process is open to individuals who: are Australian residents aged 21 years or older and have a full and valid Australian Driver’s Licence (not probationary).

Although the application process is open to people from anywhere in Australia, the initial shortlist of applicants for Phase One of the program will only be selected from people who live in (or near) either Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. The reason for this is that initially we will only have cars available in these cities. Applicants from other locations are still welcome to apply and will be kept on the list for future opportunities in their location, but are not eligible to be shortlisted in Phase One of this program.

In the event that you are a shortlisted applicant you must be available to attend the final selection event on Thursday May 30th 2019 in Melbourne; and unless you are already based in Melbourne, you must be able to make your own way to Sydney or Brisbane airports to board the arranged flights to the event. If you are based in Melbourne, you will need to be able to make your own way to the CarAdvice office at 121 Dover Street, Cremorne VIC 3121.

The program is not open to individuals who are directors, management or employees, or their immediate family members, of CarAdvice, or its related companies, Dealers or agencies associated with the either company or the Program directly.

Applications open midday (AEST) Monday March 25th 2019 and close at 5:00pm (AEST) Friday April 12th 2019.

The program is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the selected applicants.

The shortlisted places include a one-day driver training event, transportation to the event and one night’s accommodation (where required), and all meals. Any additional costs not expressly stated, but which may be incurred in acceptance and use of a prize, are the responsibility of the shortlisted applicant.

Submitted entries of all eligible applicants will be judged by representatives of the Promoter between Monday April 15th 2019 and Friday April 26th 2019. Valid applications will be judged based on creativity, vehicle assessment skills, effort, execution, and alignment with the spirit of the program.

Each Applicant accepts their position in the program at his or her own risk. The Promoter, its associated entities and agencies and their personnel shall not be liable for any death, injury, loss or damage (including any claim, costs or expenses) whatsoever that is suffered by any applicant (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking and/or using any position in the Program, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
