Chrysler Grand Voyager replacement will be "sexy"

The Chrysler Grand Voyager will be replaced in 2015, and the brand's design boss, Ralph Gilles, told CarAdvice at the 2014 Los Angeles auto show that buyers can expect the new-generation minivan to be "sexy". Gilles said the new model due in 2015 - as part of Fiat Chrysler's open-book five-year plan - has been a fun project to be a part of.

Mercedes-AMG C63 all-wheel drive ruled out

There will be no all-wheel drive version of the 2015 Mercedes-AMG C63. Mercedes-AMG CEO Tobias Moers told CarAdvice at the 2014 Los Angeles auto show that all-wheel drive has been definitively ruled out for the performance version of the new-generation C-Class. “No,” he said of the potential for an all-wheel drive version of the high-performance model. “C63 – come on, you like rear-wheel drive cars,” he said, speaking specifically of the Australian taste for rear-drive performance cars.

2016 Ford Explorer : New look, new technology for updated large SUV

The 2016 Ford Explorer has made a big statement at the Los Angeles auto show, introducing a tough new exterior, loads of technology, a new four-cylinder EcoBoost petrol engine, and a new luxury flagship variant. The Explorer becomes the third large seven-seat SUV premiered by Ford in less than a week, following the Ranger-based Everest and the three-row Edge that both bowed in China.

Mercedes-Maybach S-Class unveiled in LA: Stretched sedan due in Australia from late 2015

The ultra-long-wheelbase Mercedes-Maybach S-Class has been unveiled simultaneously on the opening days of the Los Angeles and Guangzhou motor shows. The Maybach version of the popular S-Class features a 3365mm wheelbase and an overall length of 5453mm — that's up 200mm and 207mm, respectively, on than the regular long-wheelbase S-Class.
