Range Rover Evoque SV model expected soon, Convertible confirmed for Australia

The Range Rover Evoque Convertible isn’t the only new model that will grace the style-focused small SUV’s range in the coming years – CarAdvice can reveal that Land Rover will soon add a flagship SV model to the ranks, too. The news came out of an Australian media interview with Land Rover’s design director and chief creative officer, Gerry McGovern, who stated that the company’s Special Vehicle Operations unit, and its SV models, are set to expand across many more variants.

Jaguar not rushing to add hybrid tech, will do so "holistically"

Jaguar isn't rushing to add hybrid drivetrains to its line-up, but the company knows that electrification - in part or in full - is imminent. In an automotive world where major luxury brands appear to be clamouring to add plug-in hybrid options (for example Mercedes-Benz plans to have three plug-in models on sale in Australia by the end of 2015), not to mention fully electric drivetrains, Jaguar stands out as one of the only brands that is sticking with internal combustion - for now.
