2017 Lamborghini Huracan Rear-Wheel Drive Spyder revealed, on sale in Australia

The Lamborghini Huracan Rear-Wheel Drive Spyder has been unveiled at the Los Angeles motor show a year after the LP580-2 coupe sibling made its debut. As with the LP580-2 coupe, the Rear-Wheel Drive Spyder is powered by a slightly detuned version of the company's naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10. The motor generates 426kW of power at 8000rpm and 540Nm of torque at 6500rpm, all of which is sent to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Honda Civic Si Prototype previews sub-Type R coupe and sedan

The Honda Civic Si Prototype has been unveiled ahead of the 2016 Los Angeles motor show. The Prototype seen here previews the 10th generation version of the Civic Si, which will go on sale next year in the States as both a sedan and a coupe. The Civic Si Prototype is fitted with an extensive body kit that includes front and rear splitters, a rear spoiler, and a trapezoidal exhaust tip cover.

2017 Mazda CX-5 unveiled in LA

The 2017 Mazda CX-5 has been unveiled today at a special Mazda event, ahead of its premiere at the Los Angeles motor show this week. Volkswagen Passat GT Concept: American sedan given a sporty flavour in LA

The Volkswagen Passat GT Concept will make its in-the-flesh debut at the Los Angeles motor show this week. Designed by Volkswagen's North American arm, the Passat GT is, according to the Matthias Erb, the region's chief engineering officer, meant to be an "early example of how the new Volkswagen North American Region will meet the needs and desires of American customers going forward".

2016 Los Angeles motor show: What to expect

This year's Paris motor show is only a month behind us, but our editorial engines are now firing up for next week's 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show. Held annually, California’s big auto show is one of the largest on the calendar for North America, alongside the New York International Auto Show and the biggest, Detroit’s North American International Auto Show. The organisers for this year’s show have promised 23 world debuts, with over 1000 cars to be displayed.
