McLaren Special Operations (MSO) has revealed a very special example of its 675LT limited-edition supercar, sporting a unique colour scheme that pays homage to the McLaren F1 GTR 'Longtail'.
Finished in light blue, black and red, the MSO 675LT features 20-spoke alloy wheels finished in Dayglo Orange – a hue which continues through to the sill badges.

Ford has opened its new Weather Factory, designed to make it easier to torture its cars in extreme weather conditions without ever leaving the factory.
The new facility, which cost more than €70 million ($108.21m) to develop, and each weather testing centre takes up around a 'soccer field' of space. It'll be used to test everything from the tiny Ka to the not-so-tiny Transit.

BMW is preparing an uprated plug-in hybrid version of its 7 Series as part of the car's mid-life update, according to a new report out of the UK.
Autocar claims the current 740e iPerformance PHEV will be replaced by a more powerful '745e' with the upcoming 'LCI' facelift, reportedly due for release in 2019.
