Fiat 500: Two million 'modern' micro hatches sold

Fiat has celebrated building the two millionth 'new 500' since launching its reborn light hatch in 2007. More than six million 500s have been shifted since the legendary original was launched in 1957, for reference. According to the company, 80 per cent of 500 sales come from outside Italy, making it the most popular Fiat globally.
