Nissan has revealed the production version of its Leaf Nismo, ahead of a July 31 on-sale date in Japan.
Previewed with the inventively-named Leaf Nismo Concept in October last year, the production car has a custom "tuning computer" for sharper throttle response, along with a unique suspension tune and stickier rubber than the regular Leaf.
Nissan Australia has confirmed the updated Juke crossover revealed at this year's Geneva motor show will be heading Down Under in October.
Final pricing and specifications are still to be announced at this stage, but the release of the revised Juke will coincide with the launch of the new Nismo variant – which will be offered in Australia for the first time from October.
Nissan has produced its one-millionth Juke at its manufacturing facility in Sunderland, UK, some eight years after the boldly-styled crossover hit the market.
According to the manufacturer, one Juke is built every 105 seconds, and 95,000 units were sold in Europe alone last year.
Number one million was a Euro-market 'Tekna' variant finished in Vivid Blue, which is also the most recent colour to be added to the exterior palette.
