Carlos Ghosn granted bail

Carlos Ghosn has walked out of jail, 108 days after being arrested disembarking a private jet operated by Nissan. At 4.30pm yesterday, the former CEO emerged from the Tokyo Detention Centre surrounded by guards. In an effort to evade the media, Ghosn left the jail wearing a blue cap, sunglasses, a surgical mask, and a worker's vest with orange safety stripes. He was ushered into a small Suzuki, and driven to an undisclosed location.

Audi announces 5-year service plans

Audi Australia has launched new five-year service packages across its entire range, adding to the current three-year plans. Unfortunately, the attractive design of the concept hasn't quite translated to the production model.

The production version of the Vanquish Vision Concept should be more affordable than the AM-RB 003 and Valkyrie as it eschews their carbon-fibre construction in favour of unique bonded aluminium chassis.

Mazda CX-30 to be sold alongside CX-3, not replace it

Mazda Australia says the recently-unveiled CX-30 compact SUV will complement the existing CX-3 instead of replacing it, with both models to sell side-by-side for the foreseeable future. The new Mazda CX-30 sits between the CX-3 and CX-5 dimensionally, and Mazda believes that gives it an edge in the highly-popular SUV segment as buyers look for models that suit their particular needs.
