2021 Hyundai i30 facelift teased

The facelifted Hyundai i30 has been teased ahead of its debut at the 2020 Geneva motor show in March. The teaser sketches clearly show the i30 will gain a revised set of headlights with V-shaped daytime running lights, and a more assertive design. These flank a wider and more forceful interpretation of the company's cascading grille design, and brings the i30's front end look into line with both the latest i10 city hatch and the Sonata sedan.

Real estate recovery set to drive luxury car sales in 2020

Luxury cars are set to defy the rest of the automotive industry by posting massive sales gains in 2020 – as the overall market fell to its lowest tally in 10 years last month. BMW believes the recent recovery in real estate prices will help drive the prestige car market, which surged in sales in January.

2021 Citroen C3 facelift unveiled, Australian debut confirmed

The revised Citroen C3 has been revealed in Europe, with timing for its Australian launch confirmed for later this year. Up front the chrome bars around the double chevron logo have been redesigned. Said to be inspired by the CXperience concept, the lower bar bends down at the ends and merges with a redesigned headlamp pod, which now features LED lights as standard.

BMW won’t railroad customers into electric cars, promises to give buyers power of choice

BMW says petrol and diesel cars will continue to be a part of its line-up and it does not plan to railroad customers into electric vehicles. While the German manufacturer is poised to introduce 25 new electrified models over the next three years – including 12 purely electric cars and 12 plug-in hybrids – it has reaffirmed its commitment to petrol and diesel power for decades to come.
