Full Australian pricing and specifications for the 2021 Alfa Romeo Stelvio range have been announced, with the first examples in showrooms now.

Following the launch of the Stelvio Sport earlier this year, Alfa Romeo has confirmed details for the full four-strong MY21 Stelvio range, which benefits from an upgraded, higher-quality cabin and new Level 2 driver assistance technologies for 2021.

Opening the range is the entry-level, eponymous 'Stelvio', priced from $64,950 before on-road costs, and available only via a direct customer order.

Above: Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio.

Powering the base car is a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol four-cylinder, sending 148kW and 330Nm to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Standard equipment includes a 7.0-inch instrument display, 8.8-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, digital radio and satellite navigation, an eight-speaker sound system, six-way power driver's seat with memory, four-way driver and passenger lumbar, keyless entry, push-button start, and front and rear parking sensors.

There's also a set of automatic adaptive bi-xenon headlights (with auto high-beam), 19-inch alloy wheels, power tailgate, auto wipers, four USB ports, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, puddle light projection, aluminium shift paddles, power-folding side mirrors, Alfa's DNA drive-mode selector, and dual exhaust tips.

Standard safety features include autonomous emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, driver attention alert and tyre pressure monitoring.

Above and below: Alfa Romeo Stelvio Sport.

Stepping up to the Stelvio Sport – priced from $69,950 before on-road costs, or $500 more than April pricing – adds 19-inch 'dark five' alloy wheels (a different set to that of the car announced in April), sports leather front seats with heating and power bolsters, a heated leather sports steering wheel, wireless phone charging, adaptive cruise control, and traffic-sign recognition.

It also gains Koni frequency-selective dampers, gloss black window trim and roof rails, red brake calipers, aluminium pedals and interior trim, an anti-theft alarm system, and rear privacy glass. It's powered by the same 2.0-litre engine as the base car.

Available options on the Sport include the $3455 Lusso pack (which adds adaptive dampers, ambient lighting, a hands-free power tailgate and Harman Kardon premium sound system), plus metallic paint ($1645), space-saver spare wheel ($595) and a panoramic sunroof ($2545).

Next up is the sporty Stelvio Veloce – formerly known as the Ti – priced from $78,950 before on-road costs. It's powered by an uprated version of the Sport's 2.0-litre turbo engine, now developing 206kW and 400Nm for a 5.7-second sprint from zero to 100km/h.

Additions over the Sport include a limited-slip rear differential, adaptive suspension, upgraded brakes, 20-inch alloy wheels, a sports body kit, body-coloured wheel arches, and a hands-free power tailgate.

Inside, there's a 10-speaker sound system, eight-way power-adjustable front seats, leather-stitched dashboard and door trims, ambient lighting, and heated rear seats.

Options on the Veloce include metallic paint ($2150), tri-coat paint ($4000), a space-saver spare wheel ($800), black or yellow brake calipers ($1000), 20-inch 'Sport' wheels ($1050), Harman Kardon sound system ($1650), Alfa SDC suspension ($2900) and a panoramic sunroof ($3300).

Sitting atop the range is the high-performance Stelvio Quadrifoglio, priced from $146,950 before on-road costs.

Under the bonnet sits a Ferrari-derived 2.9-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine (with cylinder deactivation), sending 375kW and 600Nm to all four wheels through an eight-speed auto. Alfa Romeo claims a 3.8-second 0-100km/h sprint time, towards a 283km/h top speed.

Versus the Veloce, the Quadrifoglio adds (or replaces with) 20-inch forged alloy wheels, Pirelli P Zero tyres, performance brakes, the Alfa Romeo DNA Pro mode selector (with Race mode), a Monza sports exhaust with quad outlets, a Quadrifoglio-specific body kit, and carbon-fibre side skirts, rear spoiler and bonnet.

Inside, it scores leather and Alcantara-trimmed seats, carbon-fibre interior trim, Quadrifoglio aluminium sill plates, a QV-specific sports steering wheel trimmed in leather, Alcantara and carbon-fibre, and a Harman Kardon premium sound system.

Quadrifoglio buyers can option metallic paint ($2150), tri-coat paint ($4000), yellow or black calipers ($1000), a sports steering wheel ($1000), 21-inch dark QV wheels ($1950), Sparco carbon-fibre front bucket seats ($8350), carbon-ceramic brakes ($15,950) and/or a panoramic sunroof ($3300).

Available colours across the range include no-cost Alfa Red, and the cost-option Vulcano Black and Vesuvio Grey hues.

Sport and Veloce buyers can exclusively select Racing Green, Anodised Blue or Moonlight Pearl, Veloce and Quadrifoglio customers can specify Misano Blue, Quadrifoglio customers can option Verde Montreal (green), while buyers of all bar the top-tier Quadrifoglio can opt for the no-cost Alfa White colour.

The 2021 Alfa Romeo Stelvio range is available to order now, with first deliveries commencing this month.
