Top Gear ‘Stunt School’ and ‘Where’s Stig?’ apps launched

BBC Worldwide has launched two Top Gear games for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch just in time for Christmas.

The modern version of the traditional stocking filler, the two games – ‘Top Gear: Stunt School’ and ‘Top Gear: Where’s Stig?’ – include all the characters from the BBC version of the show: from the hosts, that mysterious man in white, and even Top Gear Dog.

‘Stunt School’ is a driving based game that lets players modify their vehicles with jet engines and hang-glider wings, among other things. There are more than two billion combinations players can try in attempt to beat the Stig’s lap time around the famous test track.

‘Where’s Stig?’ is a digital version of the Where’s Stig book, which is simply a rip-off of the Where’s Wally concept. Players have to find the Stig and other characters hidden in a visual maze of colour and confusion.

Both games are available from the App Store now, with prices ranging between $2.99 and $4.99.
