Efijy to appear at Melbourne Hot Rod Show

Staged annually since 1965, the show is a mecca for car and bike enthusiasts with last year's entry list topping 160 participants.

The four day show which is staged over the Australia Day long weekend (including Friday) attracts some 25000 visitors and includes a rockabilly band, hot rods, street machines, customs, bikes and trade stands. Judging will take place over the duration of the show.

Always a family orientated affair, the Rod Show hasn't forgotten the kids with colouring competitions, slot cars, mini rods, low rider motorcycles, and a model car display which will also incorporate a competition with prize trophies to be won.

The Victorian Hot Rod Show is held at the Exhibition Buildings, Nicholson St, Carlton. Admission costs are $20 for adults, $10 for kids and $40 for families.
