Subaru WRX STI tS teaser image released

It has a carbon fibre roof. Although that's the limit of information the company has released so far (evident by the teaser image), our local WRX STI may be about to get a lot more focused. When the Japanese come out with a special edition, it's more often than not the technology showcased in the special, Japan-only model that slowly trickles its way down to mainstream versions that make it to international markets.

This new tS version with its carbon roof could be some evidence of what to expect from the maker in the near future. The WRX STI has always been a very serious bit of gear, it's only natural it should come with a carbon fibre roof.

It's expected the tS version will also come with a number of suspension, engine and cosmetic enhancements.
