New Audi E-Tron model teased ahead of next week’s Shanghai unveiling
The upcoming all-electric model will likely be A4 or A6 sized.
Audi has teased yet another addition to its E-Tron electric vehicle line-up, set to be unveiled during next week’s Shanghai motor show.
Specific details for are being kept firmly under wraps for now, however it’s likely the upcoming low-riding model will be A4- or A6-sized, and underpinned by Audi and Porsche's new PPE architecture.
The front fascia takes design cues from the existing E-Tron GT (shown below), however wears slimmer LED headlights and larger wheel arches. We're yet to see the rear end, and thus can't determine if it will be sold as a sedan, coupe, or wagon.
It also remains unclear if the car will start life in concept guise, or instead will be presented ready-for-market.
Earlier this week the Audi revealed its Q4 E-Tron electric SUV and Sportback models, following in the tyre tracks of the 2018 E-Tron mid-size SUV, and 2021 E-Tron GT sports sedan.
Last year, the luxury Volkswagen-subsidiary vowed to launch at least 20 electrified models by 2025.
