Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Bicolore to debut at Detroit Auto Show

According to reports, Lamborghini will use the upcoming Detroit Auto Show to unveil a new car called the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Bicolore special edition. The car's main theme will be a bespoke two-tone colour scheme.

Remember the 2005 Lamborghini Gallardo SE (pictured), with its black and white, or black and yellow colour scheme? This new Bicolore model will offer much the same personality and exhibit similar black details. The new model could also be the last variation of the current Gallardo shape before it is superseded.

The Bicolore will feature a number of black details, including the insides of the front chin spoiler air scoops at both corners, darkened wheels, engine cover and of course that trademark roof, all detailed in Nero Noctis (black). These details will be contrasted by a number of body colour options, such as grey, green, orange, white and yellow.

As a way of giving the Gallardo a proper send off, the Bicolore is expected to receive a slight power increase over the standard LP560-4 model. It's reported the car will be officially unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show, commencing January 10, 2011. The Bicolore will then go on sale at the beginning of February.
