Porsche to unveil something ‘spectacular’ at Detroit Show

Porsche has announced it will unveil something special at next year's Detroit Auto Show, starting in January. The company hasn't attended the show in five years and wants to make the return one to remember.

Although the company hasn't released any details of the car it plans to unveil, rumour has it it will be a concept developed in conjunction with Volkswagen. Many reports and industry experts are saying the model could be the baby Boxster, which is said to be based on the Volkswagen Bluesport. While other rumours say it will be the unveiling of the Porsche Cajun mini SUV.

Either way, Porsche is adamant the model will be an exciting new entry into Porsche's showroom lineup. Hans- Gerd Bode, a Porsche spokesman from the Stuttgart-based company, recently said,

"We'll have something spectacular to show there, you'll have to wait and be surprised."

Other companies within VW Group attending the show will be Volkswagen, Audi and Bentley.
