2021 Isuzu D-Max gets $1000 price rise across the range

All variants in the ute line-up will increase by $1000 before on-road costs in Australia.

Recommended retail prices across the 2021 Isuzu D-Max ute range have increased by a margin of $1000 in Australia.

A spokesperson for Isuzu in Australia was unable to comment on the price change when approached by CarAdvice, with the brand's media bulletin merely attributing "increasing costs associated with the [D-Max]" for the price rise.

However, the real-world drive-away prices of the entry-level and flagship variants are unchanged for now, presumably to maintain use of the former's "from $29,990" advertising mantra.

The Japanese manufacturer has vowed to honour the agreed prices on orders already placed before April 1.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Mazda in Australia told CarAdvice there are currently no plans to adopt price increases across the twin-under-the-skin Mazda BT-50 range.
