2021 Audi RS5 Sportback up for grabs in charity raffle

A 2021 Audi RS5 Sportback is the grand prize in this year's Audi Foundation charity raffle, with proceeds from ticket sales set to support important causes such as education, mental health and medical research.

The RS5 Sportback on offer is valued at more than $176,555 driveaway, but entrants will have the chance to get behind the wheel of Audi's five-door performance car for just $50 a ticket.

Now in its fourth year, the Audi Foundation raffle raises money for six charity partners including R U OK?, Reach Out, The Smith Family, Camp Quality, Humpty Dumpty Foundation, Charlie Teo Foundation, and The Country Education Foundation (CEF).

The Foundation has raised over $3.3 million for charity since its inception in 2017, and typically offers up big-ticket items from its model line-up every year, with previous prizes including a Q8 SUV in 2020 and an RS4 Avant in 2019.

The refreshed Audi RS5 Sportback on offer landed in mid-2020, boasting a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 engine and sending 331kW and 600Nm to Audi's 'Quattro' all-wheel drive system through an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Audi claims it's capable of completing the 0-100km/h sprint in as little as 3.9 seconds.

The particular car on offer in the 2021 raffle is finished in the iconic Audi paint shade of Nardo grey and is fitted with an optional RS Design package, which includes 20-inch Audi Sport wheels in gloss black, gloss-red RS brake calipers and an RS sports exhaust system.

The Audi rings and badges on the exterior of the car are also finished in gloss black, and the car boasts optional dynamic ride control with adaptive dampers and inlays in carbon twill.

Paul Sansom, Managing Director of Audi Australia, said the challenges of the past year had provided even more reason to give back to the Foundation's charity partners.

"The strain of the past year has seen many Australians continue to rely on the support services of our partners," said Paul Sansom, Managing Director of Audi Australia.

"The Audi Foundation strives to make a positive impact on the lives on Australians through meaningful contributions to progressive medicine, education and mental health services, and it is more important now than ever that we continue to offer our support."

Entrants can go into the draw to win the RS5 Sportback by purchasing a ticket online, with the competition running from 17 March 2021 until 2 June 2021.

The winner will be drawn at random on 4 June 2021 at Audi Australia's office in New South Wales.

Disclaimer: The draw is open to all Australian residents, with the exception of those in Western Australia. Entrants must be 18 years old or over.
