Go supercar hunting at the Vaucluse Car Club Autumn Gathering in Sydney

The gathering will feature rare models from Ferrari, Jaguar, Rolls Royce, and Porsche.

We always love it when you let us know about a car gathering you’re having, anywhere around Australia, so we can let fans know and they can come along to check out whatever exotic metal might be on display. If you’ve got any sort of event coming up, send us an email and we’ll give it a plug.

One such event is the Vaucluse Car Club Autumn gathering in Watson’s Bay on Sunday the 28th of March 2021 – where you’ll even get to see a Ferrari F40 in the metal.

Head to The Gap Bluff, not far from the centre of Sydney, and there’ll be more than 100 classic cars on display to benefit the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation. It’s the first time the club has moved the annual gathering from the grounds of Vaucluse House.

Members of the public are invited to attend for free, where more than 100 cars and motorcycles – both modern and classic – will be on display. Almost every decade of automotive history will be represented, with a 1913 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost the oldest attendee, right though to a 2021 Porsche 911 Turbo S.

More modern classics will be on display as well – with Jaguar C and D-Types, an exotic and rare Jaguar XJ220, Mercedes-Benz 300SL, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, Porsche 930 and GT3, headlining the most popular period with punters. That’s before you get to the Ducatis, Moto Guzzis and MV Agusta motorcycles that will be present.

Along with the aforementioned twin-turbocharged icon, the Ferrari F40, of which there are rumoured to be two attending, there’ll also be a gaggle of other Prancing Horses including an Enzo. An uncommon site anywhere in Australia, seeing an Enzo up close is a real privilege.

Entry is free, and there will be food and coffee available. Volunteers from the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation will be available to take donations. The Vaucluse Car Club is a registered not-for-profit car club, and all entry fees will be donated back to the hospital.

A limited number of exhibitor spaces are still available if you’re a Sydney local and want to display your car or motorcycle.
