2022 Nissan 400Z power output revealed, according to Project Cars 3 video game
The 2022 Nissan 400Z will produce 331kW and weigh 1475kg, if figures published in the recently-updated Project Cars 3 racing game prove accurate.
It's widely understood Nissan's upcoming sports car will derive power from a twin-turbocharged V6 engine – expected to be a 3.0-litre unit sourced from the Infiniti Q60 Red Sport 400, according to recent spy shots.
However, Nissan is yet to reveal exact performance figures. In the Infiniti, this engine puts out 298kW, however a retune is on the cards for the 400Z.
The new video game features the car in 'Z Proto' prototype guise, as revealed in September 2020 – though patent filings reveal the production model will look near-identical.
It's possible Project Cars 3 has made an educated guess about the power and weight figures for the 2022 Nissan 400Z (or the Z Proto) – or it could have been given a hint.

A spokesperson for Nissan in Australia could not comment on the performance figures published by Project Cars 3.
The 2022 Nissan 400Z is expected to be unveiled with full details in the second half of this year – ahead of its Australian showroom arrival in 2022.
