2021 Skoda Fabia price and specs: Run-Out Edition introduced to farewell third-gen city car
Czech brand's city car range cut to one well-specified Run-Out Edition variant, as a new model approaches within the next 12 months.
Australian pricing and specification details for the 2021 Skoda Fabia have been confirmed.
In the lead-up to the launch of an all-new Fabia in Australia within the next 12 months (by February 2022) – with the new model teased for the first time earlier this month – Skoda Australia has rationalised the current-generation city hatch and wagon's ranges to a single variant, the new-for-2021, aptly-named Run-Out Edition.
Both hatch and wagon body styles will continue to be offered, paired with a choice of two 1.0-litre turbo petrol three-cylinder engines: a 70kW/160Nm version mated to a five-speed manual gearbox, or a 81kW/200Nm tune matched with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. All models are front-wheel-drive.
Drive-away pricing will be offered across the Fabia Run-Out Edition range, from $21,990 for a manual hatch, to $25,990 for an automatic wagon – see the bottom of the story for full details.

Standard equipment on the Run-Out Edition includes a 5.0-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Skoda-branded sound system, cloth seats, manual air-conditioning, a multi-function trip computer, a new 'sports' steering wheel, 16-inch alloy wheels, halogen headlights, and LED daytime-running lights and tail-lights.
There's also a sports suspension tune, front fog lights, privacy glass, black mirror caps, a black grille, black (faux) rear diffuser, an umbrella under the front passenger seat, and luggage hooks and a net in the boot. Hatch models feature a black contrast roof, while wagons gain silver roof rails.
Standard safety features include adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, driver fatigue monitoring and multi-collision braking, plus six airbags, front and rear seatbelt reminders, hill hold functionality and a reversing camera.

Candy White, Corrida Red, Race Blue Metallic and Quartz Grey Metallic exterior colours are available, with the latter pair of metallic hues attracting $550 premiums.
A five-year/unlimited-kilometre warranty is standard across all models, with three-year/45,000km and five-year/75,000km servicing packs available for an additional $750 and $1350 respectively.
